Cryotherapy
Also referred to as freezing, cryotherapy using liquid nitrogen can be an effective and safe treatment for some skin tags, warts and keratoses. There is some pain and inflammation of the skin after treatment. For more information click here.
Phototherapy
Skin Surgery
Some skin lesions or growths need to be removed surgically. There are different methods of removing skin including excision, shave excision and curettage.
Procedures are generally carried out under a local anaesthetic (the skin is numbed with a small injection). Dr Lever performs most skin surgery himself but also works closely with other surgeons for extensive or reconstructive surgery
