Some skin lesions or growths need to be removed surgically. There are different methods of removing skin including excision, shave excision and curettage.
Procedures are generally carried out under a local anaesthetic (the skin is numbed with a small injection). Dr Lever performs most skin surgery himself but also works closely with other surgeons for extensive or reconstructive surgery
